fire rating. OPL is a nationally recognized independent
fire-testing lab. Omega Point recently became a division of ETL SEMKO. Omega
Point Laboratories has a very high standard for its fire rating certification.
Browning safe has selected OPL to certify their high quality Pro-Steel gun safes for
this reason. Omega Point is the only independent laboratory that rates products
for more than one gun safe manufacturer. The highest rating awarded to a
Browning safe is the 1200F rating for 90 minutes.
